family day

Taken last 08 Sep as LSM held their family day. Kinder-Love all came in red. Surprisingly, parents and siblings came in the assigned color as well. : )

My boys patiently waited for the program to start.

...arianna dear

These are the layouts I made for my godchild Arianna, daughter of good friends Bob and Ian Pagdanganan. The first layout was used as an entrance tarp while the second as their signature frame. I was planning to give a digital guestbook but the parents insisted on a signature frame since both their sons have them. Ayaw naman daw nilang maiba with the other siblings para di naman sobrang halata ang excitement nila for having a daughter. : )
The last layout though I made as a cover for my gift, personalized chocolates. I hope they liked the gifts. : ) All layouts were done with CorelDraw9.

cousins

Taken a few months back when cousin Amy went Balikbayan. : ) We had dinner at Guilly's Island in Timog. Had so much fun talking and updating oneself. Everybody had a fair share of the wonderful pasalubong....Haha! Yung mga hindi nakarating? Sayang! My family and I have to leave early though since we still have work the next day, not to mention that we have a toddler in tow. If this was just a weekend, inabot siguro kami ng umaga!
Miss you ate Amy! : )

Boracay Family Getaway

These are the first few pages I made for our Bora gimmick. : ) Di pa din tapos but work in progress. I try to do atleast one layout during my lunch break, haha! I hope I'd be able to finish the album and have it printed before the year ends. Keeping my fingers crossed. : )

Badminton Championship '06

This is my very first layout using CorelDraw... : )

I will never forget this event since I got the chance to vie with one of my best buds, Tine Velasco in the championship of GW badminton tournament. This was during one of her last few days in GW before leaving for another company. Miss the girl so much as she was the one who gave me my job offer. She has been my only supplier of my kikay stuff, hehe! From bags to jewelries. : )

Gacutan Family

A good friend shared this photo to me when I decided to spice it up a bit. I finished the layout in less than 10 minutes, hehe! : )
Used CorelDraw 9 in this layout.

Talisay Kids

A layout I made for my son Zach with his little Aunties and Uncles. : ) So much innocence in the part of these kids as all of them goofed around the camera while our beloved Lolopapa lie peacefully in rest. I'm sure he's with his beloved apos and grand grandson as this shot was taken.

Wildlife

Journaling reads: 22 August 2006, Just a stroll at Wildlife, QC. This used to be our usual Sunday escapade since Zach was just a baby... It's our first time since we moved out from Fairview because we slept over the night before. Dada was not around because he was busy and he couldn't join us. Zach had a nice time though since he rode the sidecar -- driven by his Ate Mina, hehe!
Still used Microsoft Office Publisher in this layout..

The Fernandos

And another layout using Office Publisher...

...a stroll in the park

As promised...here are my outputs using Office Publisher...

Boracay Buds

Who else but my two boys, hehe!

I just used Office Publisher with this one...This actually was my first ever digital layout...I think I made this sometime April of last year. I just got bored one weekend, I'm finished with my household chores, my hyperactive son was taking his power afternoon nap and I was staring at our PC. : )
The photo I used was taken during our family Bora getaway...that was February of 2005, finally made a layout at 2006 and blogged about it at 2007. Talk about backlog scrapping. Hehe!
I'll be posting more of my outputs that day... I mean the day I made this layout in my next post.

Family picture

This is so cute! Ok, I'm being biased. : ) This was drawn by my four year old son, Zach. While hubby and I were busy preparing our dinner and doing household chores, he suddenly exclaims "ayan!". I asked him what he had done this time, he came up to me and handed me this very little piece of paper showing me this picture. He said that it is our family picture. : )
Afterwhich he told me that I should put this inside my wallet which he immediately got from my bag and tried with all his might to insert the paper in.
I thought it was the sweetest thing! If you look at the drawing, he even mimicked the goatie of his dada. : ) I can still remember the time when Zach was just a year and half, he learned to hold a pen properly and next thing I knew he began to draw a face. Come to think of it, he got it from both his parents.
Now, I have it in my wallet as requested by my son. But it is simply too cute to just put it in there so I decided to make a simple layout out of it. Atleast I can share the talent of my son to everyone. : ) : ) : )

Lolo's Jersey

Ok, the jersey Zach is wearing in this layout is the same jersey Lolo Tlen (as Zach calls him) used during his "kabataan days". Imagine, for a four year old to wear something a 30++ (then) man wore... : ) Ah...those were the days when men wear short shorts and fit jerseys. Haha!
I just hope Zach develops his skill in basketball just like his Lolo. I actually introduced him in this sport since he was 4 months old. I bought him a small court then and placed it near our bed. When he finally learned how to hold a ball with his two hands, he would automatically shoot the ball in the hoop. Now, he dribbles & plays well. : ) Medyo nabibigatan lang ng konti sa katawan since he spends more time eating than sports. : )

Kidzworld, Cavite

For the first time in my entire stay with the present company I'm in, they decided to have a Family day as part of our company summer activity.

Held in Kidzworld Cavite, my two boys enjoyed the whole day with my office buddies and their respective families. This is one precious moment for me as a mom since Zach is slowly learning to mingle with other kids. In fact, he is so fond of Shane (Erika's niece) that he makes her strike a pose and takes her photo. Truly a different bonding experience. : )

Happy Together

Taken during the wedding of our friend, Milett & Jojo Concepcion. Posted as their veil sponsor.

Seeing Doubles

They say my son, Zach looks like me... But my son does not want to! He says he looks like his Dada...
This photo was taken May 2006 after the wedding of a friend. My photographer friend, Frank Dizon of Imagineer Digital played with his camera capturing the smiles of Zach. To my surprise, my son is "all game" for the shoot even though he just woke up from his afternoon nap when I came home. I'm so happy with the outcome I decided to scrap a page.
Layout done with CorelDraw.

Family Getaway 2006

This is the album up until this time I have not yet finished and printed. Wehehe. Ok, the cover and the first few pages, I was able to make in 2 days but since work swamped me and I don't have Corel at home, the project was brushed aside.
Anyway, this was one of my first doodles in CorelDraw. Enjoyed the software so much I was able to make several layouts. I hope to finish the album and have it printed within the year. Talk about time frame. : )

Finally!

I finally gave in...What else is there to say? Hehe. This blog site will probably be used as an online gallery of my doodlings and scrapworks. I hope to inspire others with my posts soon. See you around! : )
